Sunriver Resort

Crosswater is the crown jewel of Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon's high desert, set where the Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers wind through meadow and wetland. Designed by Bob Cupp with input from PGA Tour winner John Fought, the course opened in 1995 and was named Golf Digest's Best New Resort Course that year. The resort wanted a layout that would put Sunriver on the national map, and Cupp delivered a big, muscular design stretching well beyond 7,600 yards from the back tees. Water, wetlands, and forced carries define the challenge, while the Cascade Mountains and open sky supply the scenery. Environmentally sensitive routing preserves the surrounding wetlands and wildlife corridors. Crosswater has been recognized among America's finest resort courses and remains the marquee test at a property that also offers the Meadows and Woodlands layouts.
