Texas Star Golf Course

Keith Foster designed Texas Star Golf Course, which opened in 1997 as the centerpiece of the City of Euless's Texas Star Sports Centre complex between Dallas and Fort Worth. Spread across roughly 275 acres, the par-71 layout runs close to 7,000 yards and threads century-old oaks and native grasses through wide fairways, with notable elevation changes rarely found on North Texas municipal courses. Hurricane Creek splits the property and forces demanding carries near the close of each nine. The golf sits within a larger complex that also includes ballfields and a sports center, but the course stands firmly on its own. Widely regarded as one of the finest daily-fee courses in the Metroplex, Texas Star has drawn repeated recognition among the nation's top municipal layouts, delivering a country-club feel at public-course prices.
