About The Club At Carlton Woods
The Club at Carlton Woods is a private, exclusive community in The Woodlands north of Houston, and one of only two American clubs to pair signature courses from both Jack Nicklaus and Tom Fazio. Nicklaus opened his layout in 2001 to strong acclaim, a parkland test winding through pines and water; Fazio followed in 2005 with the Creekside course about four miles south, routed over dramatic elevation changes along the bluffs of Spring Creek. Severe flooding in 2016 damaged much of the Fazio layout, prompting a renovation with Fazio Design that reshaped and reduced its bunkering. The Nicklaus course has since hosted an LPGA major championship, and Carlton Woods consistently ranks among the top private clubs in Texas.
