Why we love this place

Timber Banks brings Nicklaus Design polish to central New York. Riverside holes wind through woods and wetlands with bold bunkering and tricky, shapely greens, and four sets of tees keep it fun for everyone. A modern standout near Syracuse.

About Timber Banks Golf Club

Timber Banks Golf Club opened in 2010 in Baldwinsville, northwest of Syracuse, as the centerpiece of a family-owned development of nearly 800 acres along the Seneca River that also includes a marina and homes. The semi-private course was built by Nicklaus Design and has been billed as the only Nicklaus Design course in upstate New York. Its holes run through woodland, meadow and wetland beside the river, with tight landing areas, the firm's trademark fairway bunkers and undulating, uniquely shaped greens, while four sets of tees make it playable for a wide range of golfers. The club offers daily-fee play alongside memberships, leagues and tournament events, and its practice facilities include a driving range and a golf school with professional instruction. Its arrival gave central New York a modern, championship-length course from one of the best-known design firms in the game.
