About Umstead Pines Golf & Swim Club

The club began in 1957 as Willowhaven Country Club, with a course designed by George Cobb that opened for play in 1962. It kept the Willowhaven name until 2007, when it was rebranded Umstead Pines Golf & Swim Club and opened to the public. The 18-hole Cobb layout is par 72 and about 6,442 yards from the blue tees.
