About Barefoot Resort & Golf - Norman
The Norman Course at Barefoot Resort & Golf opened in 2000 as part of the resort's celebrated four-course debut in North Myrtle Beach. Designed by Greg Norman with Tad Burnett, it remains the only public Greg Norman layout on the Grand Strand. The par-72 course stretches to roughly 7,000 yards and is known for wide, playable fairways paired with diverse shot options and strategic green complexes. Four holes on the back nine run along the Intracoastal Waterway, a scenic and memorable stretch of the round. The greens have been regrassed with Champion UltraDwarf bermuda. Barefoot Resort pairs the Norman Course with layouts by Davis Love III, Tom Fazio, and Pete Dye, making it one of the Myrtle Beach area's premier multi-course destinations and a longtime venue in the rotation for the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship.
