Blue Ridge Shadows in Front Royal is a Tom Clark (Ault, Clark & Associates) design that opened in 2007, five years after Clark first met owners John Hopkins and Rick Magalis about building on a modest parcel and budget. The front nine is tree-lined, the back nine opens up around wetlands and water, and a 60-foot waterfall sits behind the 18th green.
