Briggs Ranch Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2001 on former ranchland in the San Antonio Hill Country -- the first new private golf facility in the immediate San Antonio area in 20 years. Fazio shaped the natural hills into a par-72 layout of roughly 7,247 yards. In 2017 the club was acquired by the Dormie Network of private destination clubs.
