Bull Run in Haymarket is a Rick Jacobson design that opened in 1998 on about 450 acres near Bull Run Mountain, after the success of his Augustine course in Stafford. GOLF Magazine named it Virginia's best new public course in 1999. After years of decline, Raspberry Golf Management bought it in 2009 and rebuilt its bunkers and greens.
