The Country Club of Hilton Head opened in 1986 to a Rees Jones design, set just inside the back gate of the Hilton Head Plantation community at 70 Skull Creek Drive. The par-72 course has offered golf and tennis since its founding and, despite the private-sounding name, has long accepted outside and daily-fee play.
