Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Dobson Ranch Golf Course sits in southwest Mesa on land Continental bought in 1971 from rancher Cliff Dobson for a master-planned community and golf course. The developer turned the course over to the City of Mesa to operate as a public facility in 1973, with construction finished in April 1974. It was designed by Robert "Red" Lawrence (Jeff Hardin is also listed) and plays as an 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout of about 6,593 yards. It is Mesa's only municipal golf course.
