About Tubac Golf Resort & Spa

Tubac Golf Resort opened in 1959 on the historic Otero ranch along the Santa Cruz River south of Tucson, bought by a group of investors that included Bing Crosby. The Otero family's ranch dates to the late 1700s. Red Lawrence designed the original 18, and Ken Kavanaugh added a third nine in 2006, making the Otero, Anza and Rancho nines. Much of the 1996 film Tin Cup was shot here.
