About Eastmoreland Golf Club

Eastmoreland is a City of Portland municipal course and one of the oldest public courses in the West. Conceived by parks superintendent James O. Conville and T. Morris Dunne, it was funded by public subscription on 160 acres granted by the Ladd Estate Company. Designed by former national amateur champion and architect H. Chandler Egan, its first nine holes were built in 1918 and the second nine completed in 1921. The course hosted the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 1933 and 1990.
