Escondido Golf & Lake Club

Escondido Golf & Lake Club is a private, gated golf and lake community on the southern shore of Lake LBJ in Horseshoe Bay, separate from Horseshoe Bay Resort. Its Tom Fazio-designed course opened for play in 2006 and is cited as the only Fazio design in Texas outside a major metro. The par-71, 7,165-yard layout features zoysia fairways, Champion bermuda greens, mature oaks and a water-laden risk/reward closing stretch. It has ranked in the Dallas Morning News Texas top 10 for roughly a decade, reaching a career-best 5th statewide.
