The Haig is the second 18-hole routing of Haig Point's 20-hole Rees Jones Signature Course, which opened in 1986 to critical acclaim on Daufuskie Island, reached by a 30-minute ferry from Hilton Head. It shares opening tees with the Calibogue routing and plays as the friendlier option with fewer forced carries, while still offering marsh and Calibogue Sound views. Jones' renovation reopened in late 2007.
