Heritage Oaks is the City of Harrisonburg's municipal course, a Bill Love design that opened in 2001 mixing links-style and tree-lined holes. It is home to the James Madison University and Eastern Mennonite University golf teams, and GOLF Magazine named it one of the 25 most underrated municipal courses in America in 2021.
