Keswick Golf Club

Full Cry is the golf course at historic Keswick Hall, a luxury resort in the rolling hill country outside Charlottesville, near Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. It opened in 2014 as one of Pete Dye's final designs, built atop the resort's earlier golf course, which was originally routed by Fred Findlay in 1949 and later revised by Arnold Palmer in the early 1990s. After a 2012 change in ownership, Dye almost completely reimagined the layout, stretching it past 7,100 yards from the championship tees. Yet unusually for Dye, the design leans toward playability for everyday golfers rather than his signature railroad ties and punishing pot bunkers. Upon opening to strong reviews, Full Cry was named to Golf Digest's "Best New Courses" list and remains the centerpiece of the Keswick Hall experience.
