Killington Golf Course

Est. 1984 · Geoffrey Cornish
Why we love this place

Killington's course is pure Green Mountain golf: Geoffrey Cornish routed it among snowmelt streams at 2,000 feet, and the 15th earned a spot among New England's best holes. Pair it with a resort stay for a summer weekend in the mountains.

About Killington Golf Course

Killington Golf Course is the championship 18 at Killington Resort, laid out by Geoffrey Cornish and opened in the mid-1980s; GolfPass lists 1984, though some listings say 1983. Sitting at about 2,000 feet, the par-72 course measures 6,186 yards, and its character comes from snowmelt streams that cross the property and wide mountain views. Boston Magazine singled out its 15th hole as the fourth-best hole in New England in 2023. The resort supports the course with a practice facility built around a 12,000-square-foot putting green and practice bunker, a full-size pro shop and the Clubhouse Grill, and it books tournaments and outings throughout the summer. The course typically operates from mid-May to mid-October, with nine-hole rounds available for players short on time.
