About Milton Hoosic Club

The Milton-Hoosic Club traces its roots to two clubs: the Milton Club, founded in 1891, and the Hoosic-Whisick Club, founded in 1892, which merged in 1946. The Canton golf course began with six holes and was expanded to nine in 1916 by famed Scottish architect and two-time British Open champion Willie Park Jr. The private club is regarded as one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States.
