About Pinehurst No. 9

Jack Nicklaus designed the course in 1988, and it opened in 1989 as the private National Golf Club. Nicklaus renovated it in 2005. Pinehurst bought it in 2014 and renamed it No. 9, the only Nicklaus course in the Sandhills.
