About Pinehurst No. 10

Pinehurst No. 10 is Tom Doak's course and the resort's first new original course in nearly 30 years. Construction began in January 2023, and it was set to open on April 3, 2024. Part of the routing runs through a former sand mine, giving it more than 75 feet of elevation change, rare in the flat Sandhills. Local press reported the resort calling the site "Pinehurst Sandmines."
