Shadow Hawk Golf Club is an exclusive private club in Richmond, Texas, that opened in 1999 on roughly 274 acres southwest of Houston. The course was designed by Rees Jones with associate Greg Muirhead, routed around a large irrigation lake and dotted with pecan trees. Former President George H. W. Bush was the club's first member and hit the ceremonial opening tee shot, and Golf Digest named it one of the top ten best new private courses in America for 2000.
