Bear'S Best Atlanta

Bear's Best Atlanta opened in 2002 in Suwanee, Georgia, roughly 35 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta inside a gated residential community. The course is a 'greatest hits' concept from Jack Nicklaus: rather than one original routing, Nicklaus and his design team selected 18 favorite holes from among his hundreds of layouts worldwide and re-created them on a single property. The holes draw on well-known Nicklaus designs such as Muirfield Village, PGA National, Castle Pines, Sherwood and Gleneagles, letting players sample a global portfolio in one round. The distinctive fourth hole features black sand bunkers echoing the Old Works course in Montana. Praised as one of Georgia's best courses you can play, Bear's Best Atlanta is operated today by Invited, the company formerly known as ClubCorp.
