About Boone Golf Club

Boone Golf Club opened in 1959 as a public course designed by noted North Carolina architect Ellis Maples, son of Pinehurst craftsman Frank Maples. Set in a valley just outside Boone in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it features gently rolling fairways and large undulating greens and has long been regarded as one of the region's premier public layouts. It remains open to the public seasonally, roughly April through November.
