Cohasse Country Club is a historic nine-hole Donald Ross course in Southbridge, Massachusetts. In spring 1916 brothers Channing, Albert and Cheney Wells invited Ross to evaluate the site; he approved it and laid out the nine-hole course, which opened in 1918 as a gift from the Wells family (owners of American Optical) to their employees. The name "Cohasse" is a Nipmuc word for "land of the tall pines," and the course is cited as one of the oldest nine-hole Ross designs in New England.
