Dormie Club

Dormie Club opened in 2010 in West End, North Carolina, tucked into the sandy Pinehurst Sandhills a short drive from the famed resort village. It holds a special place in state golf history as the first design in North Carolina by the celebrated team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, whose minimalist philosophy let the rumpled, sandy terrain dictate the routing. Studied and walked over many months before the ground was cleared, the course opened to acclaim, earning a top-three ranking on Golfweek's best new courses list. Wide fairways, native sandy waste areas and bold, contoured greens give it a rugged, strategic character that rewards ground-game creativity. Originally a standalone club, Dormie later became the flagship of the private, multi-course Dormie Network.
