Harbor Club opened in 1991 as the first East Coast course from the partnership of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, the centerpiece of a 1,000-acre gated community with nine miles of shoreline on Lake Oconee near Greensboro. The routing touches the lake six times and crosses four creeks, and the all-water par-3 17th is often called one of the best short holes in Georgia. Golf Digest ranked it in its Georgia top 15 from 1993 to 1995.
