About Troon North Golf Club - Pinnacle Course

The Pinnacle is Troon North's second course. Tom Weiskopf built it solo in the mid-1990s (Troon dates it to 1996), six years after he and Jay Morrish opened the original 18 that became the Monument. Weiskopf meant the Pinnacle as the tougher test, with bigger boulders, deeper bunkers and more dramatic drops across the high desert below Pinnacle Peak. A later renovation reworked it to par 71 with a continuous, links-style routing that does not return to the clubhouse until the 18th.
