Why we love this place
We love Heritage Ranch for its old-tree character. Arthur Hills routed the course over rolling Collin County ground lined with pecans, oaks and cedars, and its tricky, contoured greens make it a thinking golfer's round that outsiders can book too.

About Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club
Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club is the centerpiece of Heritage Ranch, a 575-acre gated community of about 1,144 homes for active adults 55 and over in Fairview, roughly 35 minutes northeast of downtown Dallas. Its 18-hole course was designed by Arthur Hills and plays to par 72 at 6,988 yards from the back tees. Hills used the property's rolling terrain and worked water features into the routing, with fairways lined by aged pecan, oak and cedar trees and greens that carry plenty of movement. Although it sits inside a gated community, the course takes outside play, and a 24,000-square-foot clubhouse anchors the social side of the club. After more than twenty years of operation, Heritage Ranch brought in Troon in 2022 to run golf, agronomy, food and beverage, with a Troon affiliate managing the homeowners association.
