About Kernwood Country Club

Kernwood Country Club in Salem was established in 1914 by a group of Boston business leaders and designed by Donald Ross. Ross himself, along with Walter Hagen and Francis Ouimet, took part in the grand-opening exhibition matches. The private, par-70 18-hole championship layout runs along the scenic Danvers River and remains one of the most endeared classic clubs in the Northeast.
