Mountain Falls Golf Club opened in 2002 in Pahrump, about 60 miles west of Las Vegas, as the anchor of a residential community. It was co-designed by Nicklaus Design and Cal Olson Design; a Pahrump tourism source credits the front nine to Jack Nicklaus and the back nine to Olson. It is a daily-fee par 72 with year-round ryegrass fairways and mountain views.
