Oyster Harbors Club is an ultra-private club on Grand Island in Osterville, developed after Boston real-estate entrepreneur Forris Norris bought the island holdings in 1925. Donald Ross designed and supervised construction of the 18-hole championship course, which opened in 1927; Ross served as a club vice president and often played the layout. His signature push-up greens were preserved in a faithful 2009 restoration by Ron Forse, and the club has hosted the Massachusetts Amateur and Massachusetts Open championships.
