About Pinecrest Country Club

Pinecrest Country Club in Longview, Texas, opened in 1921 as a member-designed nine-hole course with sand greens, making it one of the oldest clubs in the state; it celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021. An expanded clubhouse was built in 1932 during Longview's oil boom. In 1958 architect Press Maxwell designed and built the championship 18-hole course (updated 1959), a roughly 6,400-yard, par-70 layout with water hazards and greenside mounding. It is a private club.
