About Royal Oaks Country Club (Dallas)

Royal Oaks Country Club is a private, member-owned club in the heart of Dallas near Greenville Avenue and Royal Lane, opened in 1969. The course was conceived in the late 1960s by J. Press Maxwell in collaboration with 1967 PGA Champion Don January and his design partner Billy Martindale, set over the wooded White Rock Creek floodplain. It has been renovated by Jay Morrish (1985), Weibring-Walford Golf Design (2001) and Chet Williams (2014 and 2023). This is the Dallas club, distinct from the Royal Oaks in Houston.
