Sedona Golf Resort opened in the late 1980s, a Gary Panks design that climbs a ridge among Sedona's red sandstone formations. Remnants of early homestead walls run between holes. The par-3 10th, framed by red rocks, is among the most photographed holes in the West. The land was used for western films, including Rounders with Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda.
