The Peninsula Club

The Peninsula Club is a private, member-owned club founded in 1990 within the Peninsula residential community on Lake Norman in Cornelius. Its 18-hole championship course was designed by Rees Jones with Greg Muirhead, stretching past 7,000 yards with several holes bordering the lake, and Jones returned to renovate the green complexes around 2016. The club has hosted LPGA, USGA and AJGA competition, including the LPGA's Fieldcrest Cannon Classic in the mid-1990s.
