About Treyburn Country Club
Treyburn Country Club anchors a residential community spread across rolling countryside in northern Durham, near Little River Lake. Tom Fazio, one of the era's most sought-after architects, designed the 18-hole course, which opened in 1988 as the centerpiece of the development. Measuring around 7,000 yards from the tips to a par of 72, the layout threads through hardwood forest and wetlands, using elevation change and water to frame demanding approaches. It has long been counted among North Carolina's better private courses and supports an active club and regional tournament calendar. Now operated within the McConnell Golf family of clubs, Treyburn pairs its championship length with a full practice facility and remains a fixture of the Triangle's competitive amateur golf scene.
