About Wianno Club
The Wianno Club, a private club on Sea View Avenue in Osterville, took over the former Cotocheset House hotel property in 1916, when English pro Len Biles laid out its first nine holes. In 1919 the club acquired additional land and hired Donald Ross to redesign the original nine and build a new nine, creating the 18-hole layout that remains today. The club's main clubhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
