Atunyote at Turning Stone

Opened in 2004 as the flagship of Turning Stone Resort's three-course golf complex, Atunyote was designed by Tom Fazio and is owned and operated by the Oneida Indian Nation. Stretching past 7,300 yards, the parkland layout runs through gently rolling terrain with tree-lined fairways, small waterfalls and water features. It quickly became a proving ground for the game's best: Atunyote hosted the BC Open in 2006, then served as home to the Turning Stone Resort Championship from 2007 through 2010. Those events drew tour-caliber fields to central New York and cemented the course's reputation as one of the state's premier public-access championship venues. It continues to earn national recognition among the top courses that everyday golfers can actually play.
