About Carolina Gc, Charlotte
Carolina Golf Club opened in 1929 as the first 18-hole course in the Charlotte area, a Donald Ross design on former farmland. In 2008, Ross-restoration specialist Kris Spence returned it to its 1920s character, rebuilding the flat-bottomed, grass-faced Ross bunkers. It is a private club regarded as one of the region's premier classic layouts.
