About Cc Of Asheville
The Country Club of Asheville traces its founding to 1894 (originally Swannanoa Country Club), making it one of the oldest private clubs in the United States. The club moved to its current site in 1928, where Donald Ross laid out the 18-hole course. A faithful restoration by Richard Mandell, using Donald Ross Society records, was completed in 2016.
