Cedar Ridge Country Club

Cedar Ridge grew out of a late-1960s effort by a group of local businessmen who acquired a roughly 200-acre former dairy farm southeast of Tulsa and hired architect Joe Finger to build a championship layout. Finger's design opened in 1969 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the finest courses in the Tulsa area, its rolling terrain and mature trees giving it real character. Its signature moment came in 1983, when Cedar Ridge hosted the U.S. Women's Open and Australia's Jan Stephenson won, becoming the first Australian to capture the title. Beyond that national spotlight, the club has served as a regular venue for Oklahoma state championships and national qualifying events. Architect Tripp Davis led a renovation in 2016 that updated conditioning and features while preserving Finger's routing. The course has more recently drawn attention as a potential professional tournament host in Broken Arrow.
