About Cleveland Country Club

Cleveland Country Club is a private 18-hole club founded in 1927 in Shelby, with an original design by Donald Ross that follows the area's rolling topography. A later redesign is attributed to John LaFoy around 1986. The roughly 6,290-yard, par-72 layout has hosted regional events including the 1981 NC Amateur and the 1991 Carolinas Open.
