About Elmwood Park Golf Course

Elmwood Park Golf Course opened on August 5, 1916, and is Omaha's oldest 18-hole city-owned course, laid out by prolific early public-golf architect Tom Bendelow beside midtown's Elmwood Park. With no clubhouse of its own at first, golfers bought and remodeled a nearby house the following year to serve as one. Today it plays as a short par-68 municipal course of about 4,600 yards, still run by the City of Omaha more than a century later.
