About Fendrich Golf Course

John H. Fendrich Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course on East Diamond Avenue, run by the City of Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation. It was designed by Indiana architect William H. Diddel, whose design list dates it to 1945, though local accounts describe it as part of Evansville since 1950. Bridging the city's North and East Sides, Fendrich is one of three city-owned courses, alongside Helfrich Hills and the nine-hole McDonald, that keep public golf affordable in Evansville.
