Greensboro Country Club traces its roots to 1909. It operates two 18-hole layouts: the Donald Ross-designed Irving Park course (begun around 1911 and completed as 18 holes by 1927) and the Farm course, laid out by Ellis Maples in 1963 and acquired via the 1969 merger with Carlson Farm Country Club.
