About Hell'S Point Golf Club

Hell's Point is a Rees Jones design that opened in 1982 on Atwoodtown Road in southern Virginia Beach, near Back Bay and a short distance from the ocean. Golf Digest named it one of the best new courses of its year. Jones lined the fairways with saltwater marsh and ringed the greens with his trademark sculpted bunkers. The par-4 2nd, with out-of-bounds left, trees right and a two-tiered green, is often called one of the hardest holes in southeastern Virginia. It is open to public play.
