About Long Meadow Golf Club

Long Meadow Golf Club was founded in 1909 as a private nine-hole course on the Lowell/Tewksbury border in the Merrimack Valley. It is credited to Scottish-born golf pioneer Alexander "Alex" Findlay, who also laid out the front nine at nearby Vesper Country Club. The club remains a private 9-hole facility and is distinct from the Longmeadow Country Club in the town of Longmeadow.
