Moorpark Country Club opened for play in October 2002, with the clubhouse following in 2003. Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy designed its 27 holes as three nines, Creekside, Ridgeline and Canyon Crest, set among canyons and citrus groves in Ventura County. GOLF Magazine named it one of the best new places you can play, and the SCGA has described it as sitting "at that happy junction between public and private."
