About Stone Creek Golf Club

Stone Creek Golf Club opened in 2002 as a public course owned by Clackamas County, financed through a bond measure. Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, it was laid out to leave wildlife corridors through the site. In 2008 Golf Digest named it the nation's best public course for environmental leadership, and it became a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. It hosted the OGA Tournament of Champions in 2009, and its financing was paid off in 2014 through a timber sale.
